2 Peninsula residents, 2 local lawmakers selected for statewide business council



Two Hampton Roads citizens and two local lawmakers are among the latest appointees to a state board dedicated to helping minority business owners.


Newport News Commissioner of the Revenue Tiffany Boyle and Trina Coleman of Hampton are among the latest Hampton Roads appointees to the newly formed Minority Business Commission. Other new members include state Sen. Lionell Spruill, D-Chesapeake; state Sen. Jen Kiggans, R-Virginia Beach; state Sen. J. Chapman Petersen, D-Fairfax; and Alexandria developer Tom Gibson, according to an announcement from the Virginia General Assembly.
